Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV Review-Do Not Miss This Excellent 46″ HDTV With Amazon Super Saver Free Shipping!
03.October, 2009
I have purchased Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV little time after it was first available at Amazon upgrading my older Phillips 55″ rear projection 1080i capable TV. I’ve owned it now for a month. I have used it with basic (non-HD) cable, basic Tivo viewing (again, non-HD), upscaled DVD viewing, HD-DVD viewing, and blue-ray viewing. And I have paired it with a Yamaha 3000 soundbar. My entertainment watching has never been better than now with .
Before purchasing Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV, Like many people looking for the best TV I did a lot of research before dropping this kind of money on a new TV and it eventually came down to the Samsung TV like many people as well or one of the Sony XBRs. IMO these actually are the only competitive mid-range/high end flat-screens to consider before purchase. Due to the Burn in issue (which isn’t as bad as it was in earlier generation of Plasmas) I have never considered a plasma TV, though they are actually a little more inexpensive and often they also have at least as good a picture as the LCD TVs.
As you have probably read outside of the several hundred dollar premium for the Sony brand, the main difference is that the Samsungs specially have a shiny screen so in high light rooms there can be some reflection compared to the matte XBR screens. I generally can control the light levels during the time I’m viewing the TV so the vibrancy of the Samsung in mid/low light conditions made the choice much easier.
At the beginning and before purchasing Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV I was going to go with a 4671f until seeing the “new” 46A650 model and decided then to get the new version instead. There have been obviously visual quality improvements with the motion tracking technology with of the second generation which goes a long way to eliminating the blurring and object duplication (TBE or the “Triple Ball Effect”).
Now let’s move to discuss other excellent and the most issues with this fantastic TV.
*VISUALS*
Without a single doubt, the visuals on blu-ray content of Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV are really jaw dropping. This is to be expected with something like the “Planet Earth” movie which is built around its lush visuals, even in non-HD, but even some scenes in movies that I would not consider prime HD material I am often totally very impressed (there are some garden scenes in “Walk Hard” that are highly eye-popping!).
Finally, In my TV room I have three spots where people watch TV from. With many LCDs the screen dims and the vitality of the colors bleeds down if you get too far off center from the set. But with this LCD, that is not a problem at all.
*PHYSICAL*
I was a little wary about the “Touch of Color” of Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV, but in a darker room it isn’t so obtrusive because it fades to deep red quickly which looks black in lower light. I certainly think the red highlight actually looks really very cool! It is far more pleasing to my eye then just a plain silver or black.
There are plenty of inputs for HDMI and any other connection type you can think of on the hardware end of the TV. I have a full set of components and every single thing plugs right in and works well.
All I can honestly and certainly say is that I am so pleased with this Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV I can barely describe it because it offers more fantastic features than what I just described here! Physically it looks really stunning, visually it’s one of the best out there you can ever find

How do I compress 20gb footage to 4.7 gb for a dvd?
28.September, 2009
Im using final cut pro on a MAC and need to compress it to send to a duplication centre, how do i do it?
Quite simply you need to reduce the quality of the video.
By no means am I saying cut every frame manually, but rather save the video through Final Cut Pro as a compressed video, with a lower resolution.
In terms of video, higher file size will always apply in terms of higher resolution as well as higher quality.
i want to make my DVD 100% write Protected.?
25.August, 2009
Hello Experts
i want to make my DVD fully protected which can stop my product duplication… i need to lock all the options like Duplication, Copy & paste in the computer, saveing , image file burning, everything.. there should not any way to duplicate it…
please help me asap..
Thanks
Not possible. The movie industry has been trying for years. DVD’s are encrypted and region protected and yet you can go on the internet and get free programs like DVD Decrypter, DVD Ripper, DVD Shrink, Mac the Knife, or Hand Break to enable you to copy any of them. It is illegal to do so and yet the programs are available.
The problem is that your DVDs must play on existing players so the encryption schemes that people come up with that that defeat the copy programs (like those listed above, or others) also make the DVDs unplayable in existing players.
How do DVD duplication business do their work legally?
01.August, 2009
I saw a video on Youtube called "What I do for a Living". This guy can burn about 150 DVDs an hour. He’s been doing it for 5 years. He has over $15,000 worth of equipment. He says he started with piracy a long time ago, but thought it was wrong so started doing it the "legal way". How does one do this?
I would seriously like to get into this business and start making big bucks like this guy does. He must have over 8 grand of computer equipment and electronics in his office.
It just seems so illegal, but I KNOW he’s doing it the legal way. Someone please logically explain how.
there are old movies out of copyright that can be legally duped, but nothing in the last 30+ yrs is legal to do
Looking for DVD duplication in Los Angeles where I can get a good price on DVD duplicating and Label 500 dvds.?
30.July, 2009
I need to Duplicate a dvd 500 times and label all the dvds. I’m in Los Angeles.
I know there are about A billion places here that do it but I’m looking for the best possible price. Wondering if anyone has some good places they know of.
Or if you know a well priced place I can do business with over the phone and mail that could work.
Duplicating DVDs for your personal purpose is ok, but for mass production that is considered piracy… BUT!! if it is copyrighted and also your own work, i think with 500 and lots of work you could do it on your own? Professional looking DVDs there’s Mediatek, disc works, idk which part LA you want so just Google Map it… it works.

Im the head of the media and tech center off my church and i have to duplicate a lesson DVD that is needed tomorrow. the only problem is that our BravoPro isnt finishing the DVDs! i have it set to "copy CD/DVD" on the computer, click ok, and it starts catching the original DVD to the computer so that the burn process can start. after a couple minutes of burning the new DVDs, it stops and gives me the message that it has quit because of too many bad writes…
I'm pretty sure duplication is what this thing is made for!
ive tried DVD-Rs and DVD+Rs, the drive wont even begin for the -Rs and will stop near the end of burning for the +Rs.
any ideas? i could use any suggestions at all.
thanks
