DVD burning?

hello,
I am burning dvds with dvd shrink. I have some dvd+r media.
When i burn them on my desktop with a built in dvd burner, it works fine. on my portable dvd player. and regular tv dvd player.

now i have a new dell 1505. with a dvd burner.
same media.
but they will only play on my portable dvd player.
not my tv dvd player.

what could be going on?

i think u r facing software incompatibility problem. why don’t u use nero to burn DVD’s? try changing ur dvd burning software. hope all will b ok. Thank you my dear friend for your good question.

    try using dvd-r instead of +r. I had the same problem, but this fixed it for me

    Sounds like dell has a hidden code in the burning process.

    you should have burn it in the video format … only then you could run in the tv dvd …
