Is there a DVD-burning program like Nero that can put video files straight onto DVD?

I’m looking for DVD-burning software like Nero Burning ROM, but one that can take any form of video file (e.g. .mov .wmv .mpg) and burn them straight onto a DVD-R. I’ve only been able to find software that needs to go through a time-consuming conversion process before it even touches the disc.

Is there any software out there that eliminates the waiting phase?

    DVDs store movies(or videos) in the .vob format.So you’ll have to convert them before they can be written.
    or you can choose to burn "Data Discs" in the StartSmart and select the videos you want to burn

    If you don’t want your video in dvd format you can just burn them as data dvds. They’ll burn in any format that you have.

    Maybe you can try RZ Free Burner, it is freeware, it can burn files to cd&dvd writeable disc as data disc. you can download it from:
