What is a free video DVD burning software?

I want to burn dvds, so that I can play them on my dvd player. I tried downloading some but they are only 30 day trials and have time restrictions or put stuff like "buy our product today!" as a watermark on the footage.
This DVD Creator is a good choice. It converts popular video formats such as AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, DV, VOB to DVD and burn DVD movie played on portable or home DVD player. Free download here:

Unbiased reviews and side-by-side comparisons of the DVD creator give you enough information to research the ins and outs of a particular product:

If it's for free it's either: (1) not fully functional or (2) it came with a virus or they can use it as a backdoor to hack your system. Why not buy a safe and cheap software like Super DVD creator 9.8.
