I have Nero 4 or something now. It takes about 2 hours to burn a movie! It transcodes and encodes and this and that! What can I do to reduce the time? Why cant I burn in minutes instead of hours. I have a dvd burner on my pc and an external one. It takes forever! Can someone with great knowledge and wisdom help?

I know what you’re talking about,I have nero and it does take forever, but if you set your settings to shorten the time your dvd will not burn properly and you will only be able to watch the video on the computer that you burn the dvd, also the longer the movie the longer it takes

Just try Nero. I am using that one, And in my opinion that is the best one.
And You cannot reduce your time by trying some other software out there.
The time of trans coding and and decoding depends on the specs of your PC. I have observe that. During the past time my PC Using only with a memory of 128mb and it takes me almost five hours to finish a movie, but when I upgraded My PC hardware. My memory become 2gb, the time to finish a movie decrease to almost 50 minutes.
