Whats the difference between a DVD duplicator and dvd burning software on your computer. which one is better?

I am looking for something i can put a dvd in and burn a copy of it onto another dvd, i need something that i can just push a button and it does it. why are dvd duplicators not as popular as dvd burning software, they look so much more simple. I dont really understand the process of dvd burning software, which one is better?

You would want the DVD duplicator then. Your wanting something that can copy DVDs. A DVD burner is just hardware that can burn DVDs from videos and the like that you have downloaded onto your hard drive. Or found online and are transferring directly to the burner.

there are duplicator drives in the market that automatically copy your disk whitout the need of a computer. check on your local computer store for this.
otherwise i suggest you use NERO burning rom software to duplicate/copy your disk

DVD Duplicator is used for copying DVD to another blank DVD.
DVD Burning software is used for copy video from computer to blank DVD.

DVD duplicator is a stand alone device. You can copy a DVD to a blank DVD without a computer. DVD Burning software can be used to burn video DVD from video files, or burn data dvd from data files.
DVD duplicator can be used to backup your video DVDs.
