Are Netflix DVD's Burnable?

Is it true that Netflix has a burn-resistant film or something of that sort on their DVDs to prevent duplication?

I never heard of burnt resistant film. I burn Netflix dvds all the time.

    No,
    but if their computer system see,s you renting and returning DVD,s
    to fast, you will be labeled a heavy user and you will see the turn around time for DVD,s to come slow down to a crawl.

    Thats why I ditched those SOB,s.

    ^^I used to return DVDs the next day all the time and never had a problem getting more quick.

    Anyway, yeah you can burn them.
