Im using final cut pro on a MAC and need to compress it to send to a duplication centre, how do i do it?
Quite simply you need to reduce the quality of the video.
By no means am I saying cut every frame manually, but rather save the video through Final Cut Pro as a compressed video, with a lower resolution.
In terms of video, higher file size will always apply in terms of higher resolution as well as higher quality.

It aint gonna happen. Video files use a form of compression in the first place. You cant compress a compressed file. Your only option is to start whackin out footage.

Sorry can’t be done. Even if that was compressed by 50% [which couldn't be done] you still looking a 10 GB finished job which will still take three discs.
