| The following guidelines help you prepare your video tapes for mailing. It is important that you do not deviate from the sizing requirements so that your DVD can be created without
errors and delays.
Step 1 - Select Your Video
- Select your video footage to be included on the DVD - up to one video footage per chapter.
- Select the video footage sequence for each chapter. H:MM:SS
- H, stands for Hour; MM stands for Minutes; and SS stands for Seconds.
Step 2 - Video Formats
- NTSC or PAL Video formats accepted are - Hi8, Digital8, Mini DV, S-VHS, VHS or VHS-C video tape(s)
Step 3 - Select Your Music
Although not required, having audios, or background music, in your menu and chapter adds both dimension and depth to your DVD. You can select your favorite songs to be playing while the photos are displayed on the screen. Just create an audio CD with your songs or drop a .MP3 file in the chapter you want to have the music played for.
- We found music with no lyrics to work best for the DVD's purpose.
- You already know the length of each video chapter, now estimate the amount of music for each video chapter needed. The song will be looped for each video chapter.
- A word about copyrights: an audio piece is never used in its entirety at any one time. They are used in a "montage" fashion, creating a unique piece of audio. Although you are still responsible for all audios sent to us, we recommend "older" audios such as most popular classical or older music pieces (either old or new interpretation).
- If you are supplying background music for a combo package, you can simply use the same music or you can create another audio CD for the video chapter shown above. Just let us know on the order form.
Step 4 - Send in your Source Materials
Send your NTSC or PAL Hi8/Digital8, MicroMV, Mini DV, S-VHS, VHS or VHS-C video tape(s), photo and audio CDs, photos needing scanning along with completed order form, a check made to Tadmoor Enterprises or credit card to us for processing at:
